<1, 2, 3, we together, and hush>

<1, 2, 3, we together, and hush> is a performance I did with the audience near the end of my two years of study in Geneva. It was also the first time I heard my instruments sounding together.

One by one, the instruments were handed over to the audience. More than 40 individual sounds appeared in the space in a non-sequential pattern, but slowly formed an order. The combination of sounds produced by this sequence is the main purpose of this work to be explored.

The breathing of everything is regular, and so is the human being. One breath in and one breath out. Each person's breath is not yet quantified and cannot be quantified. When the breaths are combined together, they form a sound permutation, which gives rise to the disorderly pattern in this performance piece.
