Project Overview
The project theme is based on the main character in this performance," Pendulum". It not only functions as part of the metronome but also refers to the performer who constantly moves from one position to another. At the same time, it conveys the condition of the parallel space between the performer and the audience.
The metronome will be installed on each side of the column. The pendulum will swing back and forth mimicking the sound of the clock. It will break the boundaries between time and space and remind people to be aware of the historical space around them. While the performer is moving around the space and composing the sound pieces, audiences are expected to experience the nature of time as well as the changing pattern of life.
Besides this, the work also presents live visuals including footage of the past. With the glitch effects that demonstrates the minimalistic image of the modern time, it contrasts to highlight the collision between modern and historical period of time.
Hence, this performance is combining sound and visual that allows the audience to see, hear, or even touch time passing. Distinct from the five senses, people can be able to detect and notice time through the perception of a new experience.

节拍器将作为此件艺术创作的主要构思基调，与穿梭在表演场地中的艺术家紧密联系。
艺术家仿佛如同节拍器中的摆锤，在知性与灵性的高度协调之中，创造出与观众交错的平行空间中的互动场景体验。
在作品中，节拍器将被安置在场地每一根柱子的侧方，氤氲出一种莫可名状的氛围。不停摇动的节拍器像是钟摆一般，发出滴答滴答的钟表声，制造出跨越时间维度的艺术语境，回溯出所处地煤斗的历史本源。同时，艺术家的表演行为将与零星环绕的声音艺术相配合，使观众深刻感受到事物发展和时间流逝的无法控制性。
与此之外，作品所呈现出的实时影像将运用大量旧日时代的脚本，同时辅以glitch技术，穿插进表现摩登时代的极简主义图像。两者互相对比从而凸显历史和现代的激烈碰撞，探讨时间的流动性与印迹感。
通过一系列的声音和图像等媒介的融合，作品将让观众看见、听见甚至触摸到时间的再现与变化。区别于日常五感，观众将从这全新的多方位体验中意识到时间语言的存在。
